Tech Services/Managed workspace

Get off scattered, insecure email. Properly managed, from day one.

Migrate onto Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, lock down the security most small businesses never get round to, and put your domain under one login you actually control. Then I keep it running. No more guessing who owns what.

What you get

Everything most small businesses skip, done properly.

Email and domain admin is the stuff nobody has time for until it goes wrong — a lapsed renewal, a phishing email that looked real, an ex-employee who still has access. Here's what gets fixed.

01

Full mailbox migration

Onto Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 — whichever fits how you already work. Every mailbox, every folder, every contact moved across with nothing lost.

02

Email security, actually configured

SPF, DKIM, and DMARC set up properly — the technical records that stop criminals spoofing your domain and stop your own emails landing in spam. Most small businesses have none of this.

03

Two-factor authentication, enforced

Every account, not just the ones people remember to switch on. One compromised password shouldn't mean one compromised business.

04

Domain consolidated, in your name

If nobody currently knows who has the login to your domain registrar, that changes. One login, in your name, that you control.

05

User management without the phone calls

New starter, leaver, or role change — handled properly, with access removed the same day someone leaves, not whenever someone remembers.

06

Ongoing admin & monitoring

The £49/mo covers me staying on as the person who actually manages this — security alerts, user changes, renewals, and a real person to call when something looks off.

How it works

One week. No downtime.

Email migrations have a bad reputation because they're usually done badly. Done properly, nobody notices except that things start working better.

Day 1

Audit & kickoff call

What you're currently on, who has access to what, and what "done" looks like for your team.

Day 2–3

Migration, run in parallel

Mailboxes moved across in the background — your existing email keeps working the whole time. No inbox goes dark.

Day 4–5

Security hardening

SPF/DKIM/DMARC configured, 2FA rolled out across the team, domain access consolidated.

Day 6–7

Cutover & handover

DNS switched over, old system retired, and a plain-English handover doc so your team knows what changed and why.

A straight answer first

Is this the right fit for you?

This works best for small teams who've outgrown ad-hoc email and want someone else to own it properly.

This is for you if
  • You're on free/ISP email (BT, Yahoo, GoDaddy webmail) or a mix of personal accounts
  • Nobody's sure who has admin access to your domain or email
  • You've had phishing attempts or spoofed emails sent "from" your own address
  • You want one person to actually own this, not a rotating cast of "the IT guy"
This isn't for you if
  • You already have a dedicated in-house IT person or MSP managing this well
  • You're a single-person operation happy with a free Gmail address
  • You need enterprise-scale (500+ seat) IT support — that's a different conversation
Common questions

Things I get asked before signing.

What if we're already on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?

Even better — the migration step is skipped and I go straight to the security audit and hardening. Setup fee is usually lower; I'll confirm on the kickoff call.

Do we lose any old emails in the migration?

No. Everything is copied across, not moved — your old inbox stays intact as a backup until you're happy everything's landed correctly.

What actually is SPF/DKIM/DMARC, and why does it matter?

They're DNS records that prove an email genuinely came from your domain. Without them, it's trivially easy for someone to send an email that looks like it's from you — a common scam targeting small businesses' customers and suppliers.

What happens to the £49/mo if I cancel?

Cancel any month. Your email, domain, and every account stay exactly as they are, fully in your control — I just stop being the one managing it day to day.
