I build apps, websites, and infrastructure that just work — backed by 10 years as a Senior DevOps Engineer

Most people hiring a developer or an agency get one or the other — someone who can design and build, or someone who can keep it running under real traffic. I do both, because I've spent 10 years being the person who gets paged when it breaks.

10 years across high-traffic e-commerce and UK government systems, leading teams of 3–15 engineers. On the platforms I've run, critical incidents dropped by 90%.

Beyond client work, I build and run my own products — including TradeTrackHQ, a multi-tenant SaaS shipped solo end-to-end. Same rigour for clients as I apply to my own systems.

Custom agents built for specific jobs — not generic chatbots. From company-wide productivity tooling to consumer apps, shipping production AI that moves real metrics, not just demos.

Company-Wide Agent Platform

Summarises everything, everywhere: built and rolled out a productivity platform used company-wide. Custom agents summarise emails, meeting notes, and Slack threads, sync with Jira and Asana, and help each person prioritise their day against their calendar. Deployed at a high-traffic e-commerce platform; mentored the team building it.

Automated PR Creation

Patches itself: built AI-driven automation that opens pull requests for security patches and package updates across our repos. Reduced manual dependency management overhead and shortened time-to-patch for CVEs (known security vulnerabilities).

Personalised Marketing — Bedrock

Recommends the right product: implemented AWS Bedrock (Amazon's managed AI platform) for personalised product recommendations driven by user behaviour data. Built the pipeline end-to-end: data ingestion, model selection, prompt design, and the production serving layer.

AI Customer Service Bots

Handles support, escalates smartly: built smarter customer service automation using LLMs (large language models) — handling routine queries with context-aware responses, escalating intelligently, and learning from outcomes. Cut response times and freed up human agents for high-value work.

AI Product Recommendation Quiz

Turns browsing into buying: designed and built an AI-powered product recommendation quiz combining structured product data with user reviews. Smarter, more accurate recommendations than collaborative filtering alone (the standard "people who bought X also bought Y" approach) — captured customer intent at the moment of consideration.

Data Analysis & Auditing

Makes data self-serve: trained AI on internal datasets and wired the output into QuickSight (AWS's dashboard tool) — letting non-technical teams self-serve metrics they couldn't access before. Also use AI heavily for audit work, anomaly detection, and data analysis.

JabBox AI — Fitness Coach

A coach that fits in your pocket: shipped JabBox AI, a boxing training app with an AI corner-man. It calls real combinations live during a session, builds injury-aware fight-camp programs, and tracks progress via Apple Watch. A custom agent scoped to one job — coaching a workout — done well.

Bunkerbot — Offline AI Infrastructure

Zero cloud, zero internet, ever: built Bunkerbot (Last Light Survival Guide), an AI assistant trained on a custom dataset and packaged to run entirely offline from a USB drive — no API calls, no accounts, no ongoing hosting. The same on-prem, air-gapped AI setup applies anywhere a client can't or won't send data to a third-party cloud.
